Karen Dopke, R.D.H.
Karen was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago. She completed her Dental Hygiene education at Harper College in 1987.
She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienist Association and the North Suburban Dental Hygiene Component.
Her passion for keeping up with current treatments and technologies in dentistry are evident while providing gentle and compassionate chairside care.
In her spare time she enjoy spending time with her dog, gardening and baking.
Chiyoko was born in Nagoya, Japan. She studied English Literature at college in Japan and studied Spanish in Mexico. After she worked at the Tokyo Marine Fire Insurance Co., she worked in the project planning department for Nagoya International Center. Besides working, she was volunteering CISV (Children’s International Summer Village) as a delegation leader and a member of the camp staff for several years. After her family has moved to the U.S., she became a full-time mother and volunteer for homeless dogs. She has been working at Dr.Ujiiye’s office since 2008.
Hiromi was born in Japan and moved to Illinois in 2004. She was a licensed dental hygienist in Japan and she has also completed her certification in Dental Assisting in the U.S. She joined Dr. Thomas M Ujiiye D.D.S.,PC. in 2007 and She is a chair side assistant for his practice. In her leisure, she enjoys spending time with her pets.
Jennifer started working for Dr. Ujiiye in 1989 as a dental assistant. After graduating from Illinois State University and spending a few years in the printing industry, Jennifer couldn’t stay away and returned to the office as Dr. Ujiiye’s assistant once again. These days you will find her helping out in the front office. When she is not in the office Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends and taking care of her twin boys and twin rat terriers.
Rachel is Dr. Ujiiye’s oldest daughter; she started working at the office ever since she was young. In 2014, she began training for dental assisting, and she is currently in Dental Hygiene at Minnesota State. In Rachel’s free time, one of her passion is swimming, like her father, and teaches swim lessons to kids.
Lisa has been working for Dr. Ujiiye since 2008 as a receptionist/assistant manager, and her intention is to accommodate in the practice of dental hygiene. When she is not at the office, Lisa is a yoga instructor, and is very passionate about sharing the mind/body/spirit connection. She also spends a majority of her time in playing guitar and piano.
